Your data is safely stored and you log in with your usual email address. Dyme works differently from MijnGeldzaken in a few ways. Below you can read exactly what was transferred, what has changed, and how to request your complete MijnGeldzaken data.

Why is MijnGeldzaken now Dyme?

MijnGeldzaken has been acquired by Dyme. Dyme has years of experience in helping people with their finances: from insight into your finances to saving on fixed costs. Through the acquisition, we can offer you even better tools and features, while everything you were used to from MijnGeldzaken continues to work.

What does this mean for me?

Request your MijnGeldzaken data

All your data is safely stored. Would you like an export, for example for your own records or your tax return? Request it via the form, using the email address you used for MijnGeldzaken. You'll receive your export by email straight away, as an Excel file (.xlsx).

Exporting receipts and other files you uploaded takes a little longer. You don't need to request these separately: we'll share them with you automatically as soon as they're ready.

Already had a Dyme account?

Because you already had a Dyme account before the switch, your MijnGeldzaken data was not automatically added to that existing account. This prevents any data already in your Dyme account from being overwritten.

Your MijnGeldzaken data still exists and has not been deleted.

Frequently asked questions

Can I log in with my old password?

No. Enter the email address you used for MijnGeldzaken, and we'll email you a login link. Check your spam folder too. On a computer, go to web.dyme.app. Once you're logged in, you can set your own password.

Has all my data been transferred?

All your data is safely stored, and nothing has been deleted. Your transactions and your own categories are visible in Dyme. Budgets and cash books are not (yet) visible, but you can download them via the export.

How do I request an export of my MijnGeldzaken data?

Fill in this form with the email address that was linked to your MijnGeldzaken account.

You'll receive your export by email straight away, as an .xlsx file. The download link is valid for 7 days. Receipts and other uploaded files follow later and are shared with you automatically.

I already had a Dyme account. Why can't I see my MijnGeldzaken data?

We didn't add it automatically, so the data in your existing Dyme account wouldn't be overwritten. Your MijnGeldzaken data is still stored. Would you still like it in Dyme? Fill in this form.

Please note: this overwrites the current data in your Dyme account.

My bank isn't loading new transactions.

This is a known issue for some accounts, mainly ABN AMRO, and we're working on a fix. You don't need to reconnect.

How do I add a savings account?

Many banks don't share savings accounts through the bank connection, but you can add one manually. Click the purple button at the top right → "Add an account" → "Savings account" tab. Enter your IBAN and balance.

Dyme then updates the balance automatically, based on transfers between your savings account and your other connected accounts.

My bank isn't listed. What now?

Not all banks are supported by Dyme yet. If your bank isn't listed, you unfortunately can't connect that account to Dyme automatically.

We understand this is frustrating, especially if you could keep track of this account in MijnGeldzaken, for example by importing transactions. Importing bank transactions from a file (such as CSV) isn't possible in Dyme yet.

What you can do is add your fixed expenses manually, so you can still keep track of them in Dyme.

Can I still import bank files (CSV or MT940)?

Not yet, but we're going to build this. Until then, connect your bank once, and Dyme will fetch your transactions automatically.

What happens to my paid subscription?

It continues as Dyme Gold, at the price you paid for MijnGeldzaken.

How do I have my account and data deleted?

You can delete your account yourself, or ask us to do it for you.

Delete it yourself: Go to your account's settings page in Dyme and choose to delete your account.

Ask support: Email [email protected] from your account's email address and say you'd like your account and data deleted. We'll confirm by email once it's done.

Deletion is permanent. Afterwards we can't recover your data or create an export for you. Want to keep your data first? Request an export before deleting your account. If you ask support to delete it, mention in your email that you'd like to receive your export first.

How do I reach support, and how quickly will you reply?

Email [email protected] or use the contact form. Your questions are answered by people, not a bot, and we can't be reached by phone. Because of the migration it's very busy, so please send your question once. That's the fastest way to get help.
