Cancelling Dyme Premium

Not satisfied with the services offered by Dyme Premium, or want to cancel your subscription for another reason? It goes without saying that you can cancel your monthly subscription easily. We’ll explain how to do so in this article.

1. Cancelling within the app

Cancelling Dyme Premium within the Dyme app is very simple:

  1. Open the main menu (tap the three lines in the top left corner of the app)
  2. Go to Settings through the main menu
  3. Tap Premium
  4. Tap Cancel Premium
  5. Confirm your cancellation

You have now successfully cancelled Premium.

2. Cancelling per e-mail

You can also cancel Dyme Premium by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

Mention in the e-mail that you’d like to cancel your Premium subscription and we’ll make sure we cancel it for you. Within 1-2 working days we’ll send you a reply.

When processing your request we’ll consider the date on which your e-mail was sent, as is statutory (so we won’t use the response date when processing your request).

When does my cancellation apply? When will the payments stop?

You can always choose to cancel your subscription with us, but the date of cancellation and the subscription length you’ve chosen do influence your cancellation.

We’ll explain by using two examples:

Cancelling during your ‘contract phase’

Have you chosen a 1 or 3 month contract but decided to cancel before your contract period ends?

Send us your cancellation and your subscription and payments will stop directly after your first contract period.

An example: On May 15th you’ve chosen and paid for a subscription to Dyme Premium for 1 month (so up until June 15th). On June 13th you cancel your subscription. On June 15th your access to Premium will expire, as will your payment.

Cancelling after your contract period

You’ve been using Dyme Premium for a while and are no longer within your contract period.

Send us your cancellation and your subscription and payments will stop as of the date on which your next payment would have been due.

An example: On May 15th you’ve chosen and paid for a subscription to Dyme Premium for 1 month (so up until June 15th). On June 20th you cancel your subscription. On July 15th your access to Premium will expire, as will your payment. You’ve paid for your subscription on June 15th and you’ll be able to access Dyme Premium up until the 15th of July.
